ADCH Festival Weekend 2 – Four-Concert Subscription
Saturday 27 May 7:30 PM – Sunday 28 6:30 PM
The Kawai 88 Keys Festival on 27-28 May showcases virtuosic pianists, opening with Elena Kats-Chernin and Tamara-Anna Cislowska performing an intimate selection of Elena’s works on two Shigeru Kawai grand pianos. Sunday begins with the master and the protégé, Stephen McIntyre and Stefan Cassomenos, as they combine for a must-see concert including music by Rachmaninoff, Ravel and Debussy. Melbourne Chamber Orchestra then returns with Aura Go for the Mozart Piano Concerto K414, before Hoang Pham brings the weekend to a sparkling close with Beethoven, Liszt, Schubert and a composition of his own.
